TiViMate Setup Guide for IPTV (UK 2026)

TiViMate has become the default IPTV player for UK Firestick and Android TV users, and for good reason: the channel guide is fast, the layout is clean, and it copes well with large channel lists. Here is how to get it running properly.

Before you start

You will need your Firestick or Android box connected to the internet, and the login details your provider sends you when your subscription is set up — usually a playlist link or a username and password pair. Have these to hand before you begin.

Installing TiViMate

1. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources under Settings, My Fire TV (or Device), then Developer Options.
2. Install the Downloader app if you do not already have it.
3. Use Downloader to fetch the current TiViMate installer link — ask us on WhatsApp and we will send the safest, current link for your device.
4. Open the installer and follow the prompts to complete installation.

Adding your playlist

1. Open TiViMate and choose Add Playlist.
2. Select M3U Playlist and paste in the URL your provider sent you, or enter your Xtream Codes-style details if that is how your account is set up.
3. Give the playlist a name and confirm — your full channel list and guide should load within a minute or two.

Settings worth changing

• EPG source: confirm the guide data is linked correctly so programme times show up rather than blank slots.
• Buffer size: increase slightly under Playback settings if you notice occasional stutters during busy evenings.
• Channel logos and categories: organise channels into groups (Sports, Entertainment, Kids) so the guide is easy to navigate from the sofa.
• Favourites: long-press a channel to pin the ones you watch most to the top of the list.

If something does not load

A blank guide or channels that will not play is almost always a login or connection issue rather than a TiViMate problem — check our buffering and connection fixes first, then message us if it persists.
